Diabetes is rising in the United States. Our speaker will provide an overview of the incidence of diabetes, and discuss the values for normal blood glucose, pre-diabetes, and the diagnosis of diabetes. She will discuss food and exercise, and their effects on diabetes. She will help explain food products labels, how to interpret the correct food values and balance those factors as part of a healthy diet.
