Our speaker is Bill Ashley. As Chief Executive Officer, Bill Ashley’s primary goal for Allied National is to continue building on Funding Advantage — Allied’s small group self-funding product platform. Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with minors in sociology and political science in 1979 from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. Shortly after graduating, he joined Allied full-time. Less than a year later, he assumed responsibility of Allied’s data processing needs. In 1990, he took over the management responsibilities that were performed by the company’s founder. As CEO, he is responsible for charting the company’s strategic direction and the development of new products and opportunities. He was named “2012 Person of the Year” by Munich Health North America, one of three business segments of Munich Re.
